“Vastu” in Sanskrit means nature, a surrounding or environment and “shastra” in Sanskrit means system. It is thus a science of nature to be harnessed for betterment. These sciences were developed in the fifth and the sixth centuries but were written in the tenth century. The foremost were the MANASARA and the MANYAMATAM.
This is a very old ancient science of architecture. It is also an art. It involves several principles of constructing buildings by taking the advantage of nature, the five main and the basic elements forming the universe, namely: 1.EARTH 2.SPACE 3.AIR 4.FIRE 5.WATER It is a science of living in nature with harmony with the environment by balancing the five elements of nature as stated above. It has been used since centuries. It is an ancient Indian science to make people happy and prosperous in their homes, shops, factories, offices or any property they purchase.
It is also known as THE STHAPATHYA VEDA.
It is a science which doesn’t know any religion and it benefits all the people who adopt it. Vaastu is an ancient Vedic science of layout planning of buildings that has stood the test of times, influencing peace and prosperity of the inhabitants. Vaastu science does not find its roots in astrology but is a science which deals with the management of cosmic energy in Building & Structures.
The today generation branches Civil Engineering, architecture, interior decoration are all derived from the basic ancient science VAASTU. Science based study with a little knowledge about astronomy is what forms the basis of a vastu based property.
VASTU SHASTRA - A SCIENCE OF DIRECTIONS
Vastu Shastra may also be termed as the SCIENCE OF DIRECTIONS that combines all the five elements of nature and balance them with man and the material. These elements are sometimes called the elements of vastu Shastra .Our plant EARTH HAS LIFE BECAUSE IT HAS ALL THESE ELEMENS IN A PROPER RATIO. Vastu Shastra each element and associates it with one or more rooms in a house. Vastu Shastra is based on various natural energies which are available free of cost in atmosphere like solar energy from the sun and the lunar energy from the moon. THE SOLAR ENERGY THE LUNAR ENERGY THE ELECTRICAL ENERGY THE SKY ENERGY THE THERMAL ENERGY Utilization of these energies gives us happiness and prosperity in our lives as these energies dwell in the vastu Shastra based created home or any property. Vastu Shastra also incorporates the use of the symbols to create a positive force or energy. E.g.: SWASTIKA means all is well.
OM(AUM) is the visual depiction of the cosmic sound waveform from which all matter originates. This is used to decorate places of worship or any place to enhance the auspicious energies in the house. It is a sign of good luck too!!
VASTU SHASTRA IS NECESSARY.WHY??
This science sets out the designs and dimensions to be used for all kinds of buildings ,for anyone or for any purpose. It is aimed to create a good and fresh environment for one and all and for each and every person of the society so that they can live in harmony or more to say true harmony with nature. The principles regard wealth creation a second objective although it is for sure that wealth and prosperity in finance can come in as a result of the fulfillment of the objective to live in harmony with nature. From all the facts and the knowledge we can very well say that vastu Shastra is a science and it is mandatory to have a vastu Shastra expert give advice on the way the house ,office, hotel, industry, shop or any property be before starting the desired task at that place.
Most importantly, it takes a lot less money to have counseling and take measures accordingly than lose too much of money by staying or working in a negative energy place.!!
I believe, with this tinge of astronomy coupled with architecture the results and the positive energies created are huge. I say this from personal experiences which I have shared on this website in about us section.
